Adele Priestley

Adele first turned to yoga as a way to counteract the physical and mental toll of working as a full-time whitewater kayaker in southern Chile. She not only fell in love with her yoga practice, but found herself helping other kayakers in the community protect their shoulders, low back, and hips through yoga. She finally decided to head to India to study for her teacher training, and upon returning to her home community in Chile, opened a yoga and retreat studio. Since then, she has run multiple yoga and cross-training retreats for athletes in Patagonia. She’s received additional certifications in Yoga Anatomy and Injury Prevention through Yoga, and teaches mindful cross-training flow classes with a goal of addressing imbalances created by doing the sports that we love. She is currently splitting time between her home in Jackson and her home in Ensenada, Chile
