Nikki Beck

Nikki started her Pilates and Aerials journey in 2009 after dislocating her shoulder serving Lindsey Lohan tacos one night. After surgery, she tried multiple modalities to regain strength, stability, and flexibility, but nothing resonated with her body like Pilates and Aerials did. Nikki grew up a competitive gymnast and multi-sport athlete, which laid the foundation to quickly fall in love with the principles of Pilates and led to a life-long career.

Nikki began teaching in Washington state where she completed multiple BASI Pilates certification programs and trained in aerial silks under a Cirque du Soleil trainer. In 2012, Nikki moved to Ballito, South Africa to teach and study under BASI Master Trainer Tash Barnard. This was such a rich experience and set her teaching foundations within the rehabilitative community. Then in 2014, she traveled to Bhagsu, India to study under Guru Mukh and the 14th Dalai Lama while completing her Yoga RYT 200. This experience brought grace to her life that she loves sharing with her students.

After, Nikki moved to Florida where she taught Pilates full time, started an aerial program at two studios, and performed as a professional aerialist. Here she furthered her rehabilitation training and did a mentorship program at the Andrews Institute, where they focus on rehabilitating professional athletes. After Nikki moved to Denver, CO to teach at Whole Body Pilates and assist Dana Dreifus in teaching the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program.

Today you will find Nikki living in Jackson Hole, WY building an online aerial yoga company called NDIYO, teaching movement in studios and for YogaToday, and embracing the community and culture that surrounds her.
