Vita Picchi

Fascinated by the mind-body connection and the forces at work in the world, Vita’s curiosity has always been the driving force in her life. While traveling around India during some time off from college she found yoga at an ashram and has never looked back. She returned to Asia shortly thereafter and spent several years studying Eastern wisdom practices and enjoying tropical fruits. With over 10 years of experience teaching yoga and a masters degree in acupuncture and integrative medicine, Vita brings a depth of knowledge about the body to her yoga teaching. Her sequencing is light-hearted, thoughtful and informed, combining western knowledge about anatomy, kinesiology and physiology to the Eastern tradition of yoga. Vita aims to help her students gain insight into their own body and develop a mindfulness of movement to keep them healthy, empowered and strong for decades to come. Expect to work deeply into your body, move in new ways, sweat, laugh and leave feeling good.
